HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO FULLY CHARGE THE BATTERY ?
It takes around 3 hours to fully charge the battery.
HOW DO I CHARGE THE BATTERY ?
The battery is detachable & handy , hence can be taken anywhere be it your home or office & charge it like you would charge your phone.
DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE BATTERY TO EMPTY BEFORE I CHARGE IT ?
No. The batteries we use are Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) batteries which do not suffer from memory effect. This means that there is no need to discharge a battery completely before you recharge it again. You can partially recharge the battery at any time without reducing its voltage or lifespan. We recommend recharging the battery after every use, regardless of how far you rode.
WHAT ARE THE RUNNING COSTS FOR ZELO SCOOTERS ?
The average cost per kilometre is about 10 paisa per kilometre. E.g., Riding your bike for 100 kilometres would cost you 10 Rupees.
DO I NEED A DRIVER’S LICENSE , INSURANCE OR REGISTRATION ?
No, you don’t. For all intents and purposes, it’s simply a scooter that travels at 25 KmPH. The law does require the use of a helmet and riders to be at least 16 years old. Check your local state laws for requirements.
HOW IS MY LFP BATTERY BETTER THAN LI-ION ?
LFP battery has 2000 recharge cycles whereas a Li-ion battery has 1200 recharge cycles which means better life span.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT CAN MY ZELO SCOOTER CARRY ?
Your scooter is perfectly capable of pulling a payload of around 180-200 kgs.
